Outlook Express E-Mail problems.

If you are using emails then you are most likely using Microsoft outlook express or Microsoft outlook. These two email programs are possibly the most stable of all the Microsoft products.
But the settings can go wrong like anything on your computer.
I am going to out line some of the most common problems with outlook express and outlook.

The first thing you should do with any important data on your computer is backup it up and this goes double for outlook express emails.

if your email program i.e. outlook express does go wrong check the following settings.
Open your outlook express Click on tools on the tool bar at the top
Click accounts from the drop down menu.
Click on the mail tab.
Click the properties button on the right. If you have more than one account make sure you highlight the correct one then click the properties button.
On the first page check you email address is typed in correctly. The best thing to do is just re type it in.
Click on the servers tab at the top.
In the incoming mail (POP3) box retype your pop3 server.
In the outgoing mail (SMTP) box retype your SMTP server.
If you dont know your POP3 and SMTP server you can get them off your IPS internet service provider.
But here is a list of the most common uk pop servers.
In the account name box retype your account name given to you by your ISP. This is usually your email address.
In the password box ( Guess what ) yeah put in your password.
