How to Setup Your Internet Options

Click on your start button, bottom left of your computer screen.
Click on Control panel.
If your control panel is in Category view then switch it to classic view by clicking on switch to classic view top left of the screen.

Next double click on the Internet Options icon.
You should now see the following screen.

Click the Connections Tab at the top.

Then Click the LAN settings button bottom right.

You should now have the following screen.

Place a Tick in the box next to Automatically detect settings click the OK button and close that window.
Now restart the computer. It should then get and ip address from your broadband router and connect you to the internet.
If you have followed all the steps in this broadband internet problems tutorial your computer should now connect to the internet.
If you are still haveing problems with your broadband connection to your internet then you may have to change your tcp/ip address settings to have a static ip address.
